Lake Travis is known for its beautiful water and lively boating culture, but heavy recreational use can also leave behind debris. After a busy Memorial Day weekend, divers from Lake Travis Scuba conducted cleanup dives aimed at removing trash from the lake floor.
During the effort, divers collected roughly ten bags of discarded items including cans, bottles, and plastic cups that had accumulated beneath popular boating areas. Most visitors never see this waste because it sinks out of sight beneath the surface.
